Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, work from anywhere in the Philippines. Working hours: AU/NZ business hours, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Philippine Time.

Salary: PHP 100,000–150,000 per month, with flexibility for more experienced candidates.

What you will do

• Design and deliver modern data platforms using Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Fivetran, Coalesce, dbt, and Power BI.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and data products.
• Support data extraction, integration, transformation, and warehousing processes.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, governance, and metadata standards across systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve data architecture and performance.
• Contribute to internal standards, frameworks, best practices, and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or modern data platform delivery.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Fivetran, Coalesce, or dbt.
• Understanding of medallion architecture, dimensional modelling, data governance, and metadata tools such as Microsoft Purview and Coalesce Catalog.
• Experience building data pipelines and data products for AI/ML use cases, with an understanding of clean, model-ready data.
• Ability to own and deliver end-to-end projects, communicate effectively, and work directly with clients.

Nice to have

• Consulting experience.
• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude or Snowflake Cortex.
