Senior AI Engineer (LLM/RAG)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the Philippines; AU/NZ business hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippine Time.

Salary: PHP 120,000–1,800,000 per month, flexible for more experienced candidates.

What you will do

• Translate AI solution concepts and technical specifications into production-ready implementations.
• Support delivery from proof of concept through initial implementation and handover.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic systems and retrieval-augmented generation workflows.
• Develop and deploy AI solutions across cloud environments, focusing on GCP with AWS and Azure exposure.
• Apply software architecture, security, governance, and data protection principles to solution design.
• Collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to refine requirements and delivery scope.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience as an AI Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI-powered applications in production.
• Hands-on experience with LLM workflows, agentic systems, and RAG architectures.
• Strong API integration experience and understanding of cloud-native application development.
• Experience with GCP and exposure to AWS and Azure.
• Understanding of software architecture, scalable system design, SDLC best practices, and the ability to work with evolving requirements.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI governance, guardrails, or enterprise AI control frameworks.
• Experience with internal AI enablement tools or enterprise-scale AI implementations.
• Ability to collaborate with senior technical stakeholders on architecture decisions.
