Infrastructure Network Engineer (MikroTik/Arista/FRR)

Location: Remote from Metro Manila, Philippines; work hours follow New Zealand business hours

What you will do

• Own network monitoring and observability through LibreNMS, ensuring visibility across all network elements.
• Configure alerts, reduce monitoring noise, and build dashboards that reflect real-time network state.
• Operate and troubleshoot MikroTik RouterOS, Arista EOS, and FRR-based white-box routing solutions.
• Plan capacity and optimize traffic across the national and international network footprint.
• Identify infrastructure risks, secure network elements, and resolve issues before they affect stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and topology maps.

Requirements

• Experience managing multi-vendor networks using MikroTik, Arista, and open-source routing with FRR/Linux.
• Practical LibreNMS experience, including alert configuration and monitoring dashboard development.
• Experience handling latency, routing, and capacity challenges across national or international networks.
• Strong ownership of proactive issue resolution and network documentation.
• Availability to work New Zealand business hours.
