TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake/dbt/Airflow): Building scalable, reliable ELT pipelines and data models for a modern SaaS data platform with an accent on Snowflake performance tuning, orchestration, and analytics engineering. Focus on owning complex projects end-to-end, designing dimensional models, mentoring engineers, and shaping AI/ML data capabilities.

What you will do
- Own complex data engineering projects end-to-end, from design through production, with minimal direction.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines in dbt on Snowflake, including query and warehouse performance tuning.
- Build and maintain Apache Airflow orchestration workflows.
- Apply dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and analytics engineering practices to support reliable reporting.
- Prepare data for Sigma and Tableau reporting, including embedded customer-facing use cases.
- Identify automation and modernization opportunities, mentor engineers through code reviews, and help shape AI/ML data capabilities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional data engineering experience and a record of owning complex projects independently.
- Hands-on Snowflake expertise, including performance tuning and modern Snowflake capabilities.
- Strong experience building and maintaining production dbt ELT pipelines.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or a comparable orchestration platform, plus strong Python skills.
- Solid knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, analytics engineering, and scalable pipeline design.
- Experience with modern reporting tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI, plus mentorship and code review experience.
Nice to have
- Snowflake Cortex experience or Snowflake AI certification.
- Sigma experience and Tableau experience with embedded or customer-facing reporting.
- Experience in a post-acquisition or carve-out data environment.
