TL;DR
Platform Engineer (AI): Building and scaling secure cloud infrastructure for hybrid and BYOC delivery across AWS, GCP, and Azure with an accent on cloud networking, compliance, and reliability. Focus on designing restricted and air-gapped deployments, automating infrastructure with Terraform or OpenTofu, and operating Kubernetes-based multi-tenant environments.

What you will do
- Engineer and scale cloud infrastructure supporting hybrid and BYOC delivery across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Design infrastructure, networking, logging, and access controls for FedRAMP, SOC2, and ISO27001 compliance.
- Build secure network architectures connecting systems with customers’ private cloud environments.
- Implement FinOps practices and architectural improvements for efficient, cost-effective scaling.
- Establish reliability practices using SLAs, SLOs, error budgets, blameless post-mortems, and continuous improvement.
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines, Terraform modules, and platform defaults in partnership with Security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE as a high-impact individual contributor.
- Expert hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with GCP or Azure.
- Advanced cloud networking knowledge, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, peering, DNS, VPNs, and ingress/egress patterns.
- Experience with regulated environments, IAM, encryption, continuous monitoring, and security controls.
- Experience deploying software to BYOC, on-premise, air-gapped, and GovCloud environments.
- Production Kubernetes experience, including EKS, Helm, RBAC, cluster networking, workload security, and multi-cluster environments.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting FedRAMP Moderate or High, SOC2, or ISO27001 certifications.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, SLOs/SLIs, actionable alerting, SSO, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
