Field Credit Officer (North Central) (Fintech/Credit): Onboarding and managing businesses that use credit products, with an accent on credit risk assessment, loan portfolio growth, and repayment performance. Focus on evaluating businesses through financial data and physical visits, analyzing capacity, character, and capital, and maintaining profitable performing loan portfolios.
Location: Onsite in Benue, FCT Abuja, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, or Plateau, Nigeria. Candidates must be resident in one of the listed locations and indicate their preferred location on their CV.

What you will do
- Identify and onboard viable businesses within the assigned geographical area.
- Engage customers to increase usage of business accounts and eligibility for credit products.
- Review available data and approve or decline loan requests based on credit risk analysis.
- Visit borrowers’ business premises to evaluate books, inventory, and turnover.
- Grow and manage loan portfolios while meeting gross portfolio and profit targets.
- Monitor account activity, loan repayment performance, and portfolio health.
Requirements
- Minimum OND in a business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, agility, and perseverance.
- Residence in one of the specified Nigerian locations is required.
