What you will do
- Build and manage provider schedule templates and appointment slot capacity in AthenaHealth.
- Own provider availability workflows, including PTO requests, schedule freezes, and panel transitions.
- Create initial schedules and ramp plans for onboarding providers.
- Maintain operational trackers for caseloads, psychiatric re-evaluations, and system updates.
- Identify and resolve scheduling errors to maintain accurate forward-looking capacity.
- Standardize and automate scheduling documentation to reduce administrative work for managers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, provider scheduling, or care coordination.
- Working knowledge of electronic health record systems.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Experience managing detailed operational workflows with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing healthcare environment.
