GSOC Supervisor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite at the Corsicana, Texas site; regular schedule is 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Lead Security Operations Center Operators through coaching, mentoring, scheduling, attendance, and performance management.
• Monitor internal and external security systems and respond to security events in a highly available GSOC supporting internal and external customers.
• Analyze SIEM alerts, investigate potential security issues and incidents, support remediation, and document emerging trends.
• Classify calls, prioritize competing emergencies, coordinate responses, and support field emergency service units with verified information.
• Operate radios, video monitoring displays, CAD software, recorders, and other dispatch-related systems while maintaining accurate event records.
• Track team OKRs and KPIs, complete monthly reporting, and identify improvements to GSOC processes and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Two years of experience in emergency services dispatch, private security, the armed forces, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, plus proof of eligibility to work in the United States, is required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; Spanish proficiency is preferred.
• Ability to make rapid decisions, triage emergencies, remain professional under stress, and handle confidential information.
• Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment and meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and standing or walking for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Military experience.
• Associate’s degree or certification in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Experience with mass communication systems, access control, CCTV, and other security technologies.
