TL;DR
Deputy Director, Supply Chain Business Development and Program Delivery (Supply Chain): Designing and scaling humanitarian health supply chain solutions, funding proposals, forecasting systems, procurement strategies, and last-mile delivery models with an accent on business development, global supply chain performance, and country-level capacity building. Focus on integrating supply chain planning into Impact at Scale programs, digitalizing supply chain visibility, managing commodity risks, and deploying technical support to high-priority contexts.

Location: Remote position open to candidates located in and authorized to work in the United Kingdom, Kenya, or Lebanon; frequent travel to program countries of up to 20% may be required.

Salary: £58,476–£69,440 per year for the UK pay rate; compensation varies by work location and follows the applicable local salary scale.

What you will do

  • Lead supply chain input across business development, donor positioning, capture, proposal design, narrative development, logical frameworks, and costing.
  • Embed supply chain planning into Impact at Scale program design and lead cross-functional scaling initiatives.
  • Strengthen forecasting, demand planning, sourcing, pre-positioning, procurement, distribution, and last-mile delivery for health commodities.
  • Develop global visibility systems, KPIs, reporting, risk controls, and digital supply chain improvements, including AI-enabled solutions.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, assessments, and operational support to country and regional teams, including deployment to high-priority contexts.
  • Coordinate with procurement, health, finance, IT, country programs, donors, UN agencies, and humanitarian partners.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in public health, pharmacy, supply chain management, strategy, international development, international relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing supply chains in humanitarian settings, preferably health supply chains involving immunization, nutrition, or sexual and reproductive health.
  • Expertise in forecasting, strategic sourcing, procurement, quality assurance, distribution, and vaccine storage and delivery.
  • Experience with strategy development, assessments, evaluations, proposal development, donor positioning, and partnership building.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, Power BI, performance monitoring, LMIS platforms, and supply chain technology ecosystems.
  • Fluent English is required; candidates must be located in and have the right to work in the United Kingdom, Kenya, or Lebanon.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic.
  • Experience with AI-enabled supply chain solutions.
  • Experience in large-scale portfolio management and localization or technical assistance models for INGOs.
