Head of Web Production (AI)

Location: Remote from Canada, Brazil, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, or Spain; consistent overlap with the collaboration window of 8:00am–12:00pm EST is required.

What you will do

• Build and own the production operating system from marketing request through launch for landing pages, checkouts, funnels, upsells, experiments, and technical changes.
• Redesign workflows, remove unnecessary handoffs, establish work-in-progress limits, define production lanes, and create escalation paths for blockers and changing requirements.
• Standardize briefs, Definitions of Ready and Done, acceptance criteria, dependency planning, and capacity visibility across marketing, copy, design, video, development, tracking, and approvals.
• Evaluate and implement AI coding tools, AI page builders, no-code platforms, reusable components, templates, and automation with appropriate performance, tracking, and brand guardrails.
• Introduce upstream quality controls, self-QC, standardized checklists, independent final QC, and automated testing for visual regression, links, responsive layouts, tracking, checkout functionality, browsers, and performance.
• Lead and coach the production team, establish operational reporting, and improve cycle time, throughput, predictability, first-pass quality, and rework rates.

Requirements

• Significant experience improving operations for a web development, digital production, or growth technology team, with measurable results in delivery speed, throughput, or first-pass quality.
• Strong understanding of landing pages, ecommerce funnels, checkouts, upsells, testing, and conversion-focused web production.
• Working technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, analytics, tracking, page builders, and modern web development workflows.
• Experience embedding AI tools or automation into a real production environment, plus experience with intake processes, acceptance criteria, capacity planning, quality control, dependencies, and constraint management.
• Ability to collaborate with and challenge marketers, copywriters, designers, media buyers, developers, and senior stakeholders using operational data and measurable outcomes.
• Consistent availability for 8:00am–12:00pm EST collaboration overlap is required.

Nice to have

• Direct response ecommerce or high-volume web production experience.
• Experience with Shopify, Checkout Champ, Figma, landing page builders, CRO testing, and marketing analytics.
• Evidence of relevant outcomes in place of formal qualifications.

• The first 30 days focus on mapping the current request-to-launch process, establishing a baseline, and producing a prioritized improvement roadmap.
• By 60 days, the role is expected to establish standardized intake, readiness criteria, service levels, capacity and dependency planning, AI-assisted workflows, and an operating dashboard.
• By 90 days, the function is expected to show shorter cycle times, improved delivery and QC results, greater visibility, and higher throughput without proportional headcount growth.
