TL;DR
AI Interaction Designer (LLM/Agent Architectures): Defining and leading strategies, reusable patterns, evaluation frameworks, and tooling for prompts, agentic workflows, and LLM-based application architectures with an accent on production-grade AI applications, retrieval-augmented generation, and responsible AI. Focus on designing evaluation pipelines for non-deterministic systems, building multi-agent and tool-use architectures, and influencing technical direction across engineering teams.
Location: 100% remote within the United States
Salary: $140,000–$155,000 annually

What you will do
- Define and lead organization-wide strategies, patterns, and tooling for prompt design, agentic workflows, and LLM-based application architectures.
- Build reusable design patterns, evaluation frameworks, and developer tools that scale across teams and use cases.
- Apply modern LLM APIs and agent frameworks to production software.
- Design evaluation pipelines for non-deterministic AI systems.
- Apply responsible AI principles, including safety and policy considerations.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across the organization.
Requirements
- Six or more years of software engineering experience, including significant work on LLM-based applications.
- Proven experience shipping LLM-powered products to production.
- Deep familiarity with modern LLM APIs, agent frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern application frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; eligible applicants include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates. New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
Nice to have
- Public writing, conference talks, or open-source contributions related to LLM application development.
- Experience with multi-agent architectures, complex tool-use systems, and fine-tuning workflows.
- Experience in customer support, coding assistants, analytics agents, or enterprise software with strict compliance requirements.
