Infrastructure Developer (Python)

Location: London or New York

Minimum base salary: $100,000 annually if located in New York; discretionary bonuses and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Design and build API integrations across bare metal provisioning, network fabric, virtualization, cloud, storage, and CMDB platforms.
• Develop production-quality Python automation for server lifecycles, resource management, storage operations, and infrastructure handoffs.
• Build event-driven workflows and self-service APIs, CLIs, and developer portal integrations.
• Own the CMDB API layer and evolve schemas for infrastructure components, attributes, and topological relationships.
• Implement policy-as-code integrations and ensure infrastructure data remains an authoritative source of truth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of software development experience focused on infrastructure automation, systems integration, or platform engineering.
• Strong production Python development skills, including clean, tested, and maintainable code.
• Experience with CMDB platforms, RESTful API design, OpenAPI or Swagger, relational schemas, and migration strategies.
• Working knowledge of at least two infrastructure domains, such as bare metal, networking, storage, virtualization, or cloud.
• Experience with Atlassian tools and Git, plus strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Network automation, Kubernetes, Knative, Helm, GitOps, or cloud-native microservices experience.
• Working knowledge of Rust for performance-critical automation or CLI tooling.
• Experience in financial services, security automation, micro-segmentation, policy-as-code, Terraform, or Ansible.
