Senior Associate Director, Nexus, Client Delivery

Salary: CAD 105,000–CAD 154,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver fund accounting and administration services for private markets funds, including NAV preparation and review, custody servicing, investor record keeping, and reporting.
• Manage and train Fund Accountants across NAV processes and allocate resources to meet service-level agreements.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, brokers, custodians, administrators, and the internal AML team to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
• Review and approve fee schedules, management and carried interest calculations, investor allocations, waterfall calculations, custody documents, capital calls, distributions, and fund expenses.
• Support audited financial statements, annual audits, regulatory reporting, client queries, and compliance with organizational controls.
• Establish client-specific procedures, ensure cross-training and coverage, contribute to office growth, and participate in system and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• University or post-secondary degree in finance or accounting.
• Experience in fund administration, including staff management.
• In-depth knowledge of private markets fund administration, fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments, and fund offering documents.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Geneva, Investran, or Yardi, or working knowledge of Bloomberg, is beneficial.
• Completion of or interest in a professional accounting or finance designation such as CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, or CFA is an asset.
