Location: Tbilisi, Georgia — hybrid, with 3 days in the office

What you will do
- Lead and manage a client-side development team of 6–7 developers with mixed seniority.
- Provide technical direction, resolve complex engineering challenges, and support architectural decisions.
- Maintain coding standards and improve engineering processes, collaboration models, and development tools.
- Design and implement engine features and reusable systems for future scalability.
- Coordinate stakeholders and ensure reliable, timely delivery of game features and releases.
- Hire, onboard, mentor, and support the professional growth of developers.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and strong client-side software development experience.
- Experience mentoring developers and maintaining or improving existing systems.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance delivery goals, technical quality, and team support.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Game development experience.
- Experience with Java, PIXI.js or similar rendering frameworks, and custom engines.
- Experience leading developers and supporting teams through technology transitions.
