Coupa Middleware Developer (Coupa)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Coupa BSM and enterprise applications.
• Build API-based integrations, supplier onboarding flows, and data synchronization with ERP, finance, HR, and payment systems.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into reliable integration solutions with cross-functional product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Apply integration engineering practices through code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Mentor more junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of integration engineering experience; the position description also specifies 6+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating Coupa with enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of Coupa Integration Cloud and Coupa Open APIs.
• Experience with at least one major iPaaS, such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato.
• Understanding of source-to-pay and procure-to-pay processes, plus SQL and data transformation skills.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, integration security, troubleshooting, analysis, communication, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Coupa certifications.
• Experience integrating Coupa with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Coupa Pay, Coupa Risk Assess, or Coupa Treasury.
• Exposure to supplier-network integrations and global BSM rollouts.
