TL;DR
Product Operations Microsoft (Microsoft CSP): Managing the end-to-end operational and commercial lifecycle of Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider subscriptions for Vodacom Business with an accent on provisioning, renewals, billing reconciliation, licensing governance, and revenue assurance. Focus on validating complex subscription transactions, resolving billing and provisioning escalations, and improving operational controls, reporting, and automation.
Location: Onsite at Midrand, Vodacom Campus, Johannesburg, South Africa
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Five to 10 years of relevant experience in Microsoft CSP operations, cloud licensing, software asset management, ICT commercial operations, billing, or order fulfilment.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900).
- Current Microsoft CSP, New Commerce Experience, and Partner Center commercial training.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Partner Center and Microsoft products including Dynamics 365 and Azure subscriptions.
- Advanced knowledge of licensing models, subscription lifecycle rules, pricing, invoicing, reconciliation, governance, and Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure Portal.
What you will do
- Coordinate customer renewals, upsells, renewal programmes, and subscription lifecycle events, including provisioning, upgrades, migrations, suspensions, cancellations, and term changes.
- Maintain accurate customer, tenant, subscription, pricing, renewal, order, and billing records across Partner Center, CRM, order-management, and billing systems.
- Validate quotations, SKUs, quantities, pricing, billing frequency, commitment terms, foreign-exchange assumptions, margins, and customer approvals.
- Reconcile Microsoft invoices and distributor statements with internal systems and customer billing, investigating variances, credits, and failed transactions.
- Maintain Partner Center governance, access controls, customer relationships, Partner IDs, delegated administration, and audit evidence.
- Coordinate Sales, Finance, Commercial, Service Operations, distributors, Microsoft, and support teams while managing escalations, reporting, documentation, and process automation.

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals (AB-900).
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, billing, or marketplace platforms and high-volume operational data.
- Power BI experience.
