What you will do
- Design, implement, and enhance scalable automated tests for functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance validation.
- Validate system behavior in isolation and at scale, analyze results, and identify defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Define and document test strategies, standards, guidelines, and risk-based coverage priorities.
- Evaluate and improve test frameworks, libraries, internal tools, and automation efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers, operations, and cross-functional partners on quality goals and test coverage.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance on automated testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
- Strong production-quality Python or Golang skills for automated tests, shared libraries, and internal tools.
- Experience testing REST APIs, including validation, authentication, error handling, pagination, and rate limiting.
- Experience generating synthetic files and test data, including malformed, edge-case, and high-volume inputs.
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix-based systems, Git, code review workflows, and bug tracking.
- Intermediate+ English required; ability to debug across logs, services, and databases and mentor junior colleagues.
