Press Relations (PR) and Strategy Specialist - Masters-Level Internship (AI)

Location: Remote, with hybrid options in Toronto

Compensation: $32 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with developing and executing public relations and communications plans.
• Support media relations by building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and influencers.
• Create press releases, social media content, and website updates.
• Help plan and manage press conferences, media events, and other PR activities.
• Monitor PR and communications performance and provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and maintain consistent brand messaging.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a master's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of media relations and social media platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in AI and enthusiasm for contributing to the future of technology.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Recent graduate status.
