Security Engineer III - Incident Response (AI Security)

Location: Must be based in Poland; collaboration across LATAM and Americas time zones is required.

Annual base pay: $132,000–$198,000 USD, with potential incentive compensation, bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits.

What you will do

• Support end-to-end response to cyber and product security incidents, from preparation and detection through containment, recovery, customer-impact assessment, and post-incident review.
• Coordinate incident workstreams, track decisions and actions, and maintain clear communication across security, engineering, SRE, legal, privacy, communications, customer support, and business teams.
• Build incident response capabilities for AI-enabled applications, models, agents, inference traffic, AI gateways, APIs, and runtime data paths.
• Improve AI-assisted security operations, observability, automated triage, response automation, and incident recovery frameworks.
• Support tabletop exercises, cyber simulations, product security drills, KPI/KRI tracking, and improvements to MTTD, MTTC, and MTTR.
• Provide technical support across cloud, identity, endpoints, applications, APIs, Kubernetes, WAAP, DDoS, bot defense, threat hunting, vulnerability response, and digital investigations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on incident response, security operations, threat hunting, vulnerability response, product security, or investigations.
• Experience supporting complex incidents in SaaS, cloud, hybrid, multicloud, and customer-facing technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern attack techniques, incident management, technical communication, cross-functional coordination, and workstream tracking.
• Understanding of load balancing, reverse proxies, WAF, API security, DDoS protection, bot defense, Kubernetes ingress, and public cloud security.
• Experience investigating AI and security events using cloud, identity, API gateway, application, agent/tool execution, EDR, SIEM, WAF/WAAP, DLP, vulnerability, threat intelligence, and network/edge logs.
• Ability to support global incident response operations from Poland and collaborate across LATAM and Americas time zones.

• Familiarity with NIST, ISO, SOC, PCI, and GDPR requirements.
