What you will do

• Contribute to the product worldview, character design, and narrative line development.
• Write in-game dialogue, quest text, event narratives, and character lines.
• Collaborate with localization specialists on cultural adaptation and narrative language quality.
• Integrate narrative content into LiveOps events and meta scenarios with operations and art teams.
• Research narrative preferences and pop culture trends in North American and European markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Creative Writing, Literature, Media, Drama, Game Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Native-level English writing ability is required for overseas-market content.
• Strong storytelling and character-building skills, with a writing portfolio or script samples.
• Understanding of and passion for narrative-driven casual games.
• Effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Published work or internship experience in game narrative, scriptwriting, content creation, or screenwriting.
• Multilingual ability, including Chinese or other languages.
• Familiarity with the meta structure of merge, simulation, or narrative-driven games.
