Data Science & AI Intern (Manufacturing AI): Developing anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and optimization solutions for large-scale manufacturing and capacity-planning datasets with an accent on time series models, causal AI, computer vision, and production-ready data systems. Focus on modeling complex manufacturing behavior, designing scalable AI systems in Python, and enabling resilient operational decision making.
Location: Korat, Thailand. On-site role at 's manufacturing facility. Travel: None.

What you will do
- Work with data scientist mentors to formulate manufacturing and engineering challenges as well-defined AI problems.
- Develop anomaly detection and root cause analysis solutions for complex manufacturing processes and capacity-planning controls.
- Apply time series foundation models, causal AI, optimization, simulation, and AI-based reasoning to model manufacturing behavior.
- Design and implement scalable data and AI systems for large-scale manufacturing datasets.
- Deliver reliable, production-ready insights that support data-driven and resilient operational decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Substantial AI/ML experience in industrial use cases involving tabular data, time series data, and computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python for model development.
- Experience with relevant data science and AI tools, including Polars, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Optuna, DoWhy, PyMC, SciPy, Google OR-Tools, Mesa, OctoTools, and OpenEvolve.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, time-management, collaboration, and initiative-driving skills.
- English proficiency is required for writing, speaking, and presentations.
