Senior Fill Finish Manufacturing Engineer (Biotech)

Location: Rensselaer, New York, United States; on-site. Travel up to 15%.

Salary: $78,700–$128,700 annually.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for medical device and combination-product assembly, labeling, and packaging processes.
• Support process development, technology transfer, cGMP start-up, routine manufacturing, investigations, validation, and operator training.
• Lead material and component selection, design, and approval with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Support the design, installation, qualification, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and new technologies.
• Recommend capital investments and represent manufacturing during regulatory and client audits.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Combination Products, Validation, and Quality Assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing environments.
• Experience with assembly, labeling, and packaging of liquid and lyophilized injectable products.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, cross-cultural, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience operating and qualifying highly automated equipment, including serialization systems.
• Experience with technology transfer and equipment or process validation in aseptic, parenteral fill/finish operations.
• Previous experience providing technical support.
