Windows Support Engineer

Location: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; in-office or hybrid optional. Working hours: 9:00 am–6:00 pm EST (New York City time zone).

What you will do

• Troubleshoot Windows devices, Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, and VoIP systems.
• Communicate directly with clients, build trust, manage expectations, and resolve difficult situations.
• Manage and prioritize the ticket queue, including warm-transfer escalations.
• Create and improve internal knowledge-base documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors to drive incidents through to resolution.
• Participate in weekly meetings and team-led training while promoting proactive, accountable support.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting, configuring, and managing Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, DNS, and DHCP.
• Knowledge of advanced networking principles, including troubleshooting firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience with Remote Desktop, RemoteApps, or similar remote-access solutions.
• Strong customer-service and client-communication skills, with the ability to build trust and defuse challenging situations.
• Experience creating detailed internal technical documentation and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
