TL;DR
Tooling Development Intern (Automation and AI): Developing software, vision programs, and AI solutions for HSA automation machines and metrology systems with an accent on machine control, computer vision, and device integration. Focus on integrating actuators, cameras, and electronic components, verifying engineering solutions, and managing software projects across multiple teams.
Location: Korat, Thailand; onsite work at the Korat manufacturing facility
Company
operates a large manufacturing facility in Korat producing cloud-based storage equipment and finished drives.
What you will do
- Develop and revise software controlling automation machines and MAC testers.
- Develop vision programs, AI, and deep learning solutions for HSA metrology.
- Design and integrate linear actuators, cameras, and electronic components for HSA automation machines.
- Set up HSA automation machines in collaboration with mechanical and electronics design engineers.
- Plan and manage software projects to meet commitments and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming proficiency in C/C++, Visual Basic, Pascal, and Python.
- Project management skills, including the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving, engineering verification, evaluation, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Good command of English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SolidWorks.
