What you will do

• Plan experiments, develop methods, execute laboratory procedures, analyze data, and document results for human and mammalian cell culture.
• Perform and monitor manual and automated cell culture workflows, including fibroblast expansion, reprogramming, iPSC expansion, thawing, passaging, and cryopreservation.
• Operate and improve workflows involving spatial transcriptomics, hyperplexed imaging, robotic platforms, and automated assays.
• Manage specimens, media, reagents, consumables, laboratory space, equipment, and operational resources for the Global Stem Cell Array.
• Troubleshoot biological and automation-related issues, assess robotic system performance, and refine protocols and quality-control measures.
• Create and modify SOPs, report errors and results, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, software teams, and laboratory specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in biology, biotechnology, forensic science, or a directly related specialty.
• At least two years of professional laboratory experience performing both automated and manual cell culture operations for iPSC lines.
• Experience with automated iPSC derivation, robotic media exchange, passaging, thawing, cryopreservation, and assay execution.
• Experience processing whole blood, skin, saliva, and fibroblast samples; isolating PBMCs; and preparing inputs for reprogramming and discovery workflows.
• Experience with fibroblast reprogramming, stem cell discovery pipelines, automated assay development, and automation troubleshooting.
• Exclusive use of Laboratory Information Management Systems for sample and process traceability, with accurate recordkeeping and concise error reporting.
