Product Manager / Director, Fiat (Fintech): Building and optimizing global fiat payment channels and crypto on/off-ramp systems with an accent on payment partner integrations, settlement flows, security, and compliance. Focus on launching vendor integrations across regions, negotiating with payment partners, monitoring regulations, and improving conversion rates, cost efficiency, and user experience.
Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR. Applicants must have a current right to work in Hong Kong and must not require visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Lead the expansion and management of global fiat payment channels, including gateways, settlement partners, banks, and local payment service providers.
- Build and optimize fiat on/off-ramp payment systems for stability, security, and compliance across multiple regions.
- Drive business negotiations, contracts, technical integrations, and end-to-end onboarding of payment vendors.
- Monitor payment regulations and market trends while providing strategic insights and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance teams on payment operations and integrations.
- Analyze payment performance and improve conversion rates, cost efficiency, and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, International Business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the payments industry, with knowledge of card schemes, local wallets, bank transfers, and global payment ecosystems.
- Experience integrating fiat on/off-ramp vendors for crypto exchanges or cross-border financial institutions.
- Knowledge of payment processing, settlement flows, and compliance frameworks including AML and KYC.
- Ability to independently lead complex integration projects and collaborate across functions.
- Proficient English is required, along with strong communication and negotiation skills for international partners.
Nice to have
- Experience sourcing and launching regional payment channels independently.
- Familiarity with payment landscapes in Southeast Asia, LATAM, the Middle East, or Africa.
- Experience with Visa, Mastercard, or major local payment networks.
