Vice President CISO (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Define cybersecurity strategy and maintain an integrated view of security risk across cloud, enterprise IT, and OT environments.
• Translate technical risk signals into business and operational impact and prioritize remediation accordingly.
• Establish security and control models, ownership, accountability, and decision rights across InfoSec, IT, and business functions.
• Build a risk-based investment and prioritization framework focused on measurable risk reduction rather than tool deployment or compliance completion.
• Mature protection, detection, response, and recovery capabilities from reactive to proactive operations.
• Lead a high-accountability global security organization and report risk posture, progress, trade-offs, and limitations to executive leadership and the Board.

Requirements

• Executive-level global cybersecurity leadership experience within large, global enterprises.
• Strong experience with OT, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Expertise in cybersecurity architecture, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing global security teams and develop independent security leaders.
• Experience establishing risk-based prioritization frameworks and improving control effectiveness.
• Experience adapting zero-trust principles to complex hybrid environments, including OT, plus strong executive and Board-level communication skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.
• Experience with international regulatory bodies and cross-border data protection laws.
• M&A security experience.
