TL;DR
Staff Program/Project Manager (Product & Strategic Operations Management): Supporting product release and factory operations for Slider/HGA storage components with an accent on cross-functional communication, performance monitoring, and quality management. Focus on coordinating customer qualification issues, facilitating RHG and Drive meetings, managing change approvals, and sustaining performance during initial product ramp.
Location: Korat, Thailand; onsite at the Korat slider factory
Company
operates a large manufacturing facility producing cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finished drives.
What you will do
- Support Head Program Management during the product release phase.
- Manage the internal Slider factory team in monitoring factory performance issues and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate responses to customer qualification-related issues with internal Slider factory teams.
- Develop Slider/HGA notifications, alert letters, and other communications for downstream teams.
- Represent Slider/HGA operations and facilitate RHG and Drive meetings, while participating in CRB approval activities.
- Provide weekly updates on internal and external Slider/HGA product performance issues to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of program management, product engineering, and process engineering.
- Full knowledge of project or strategic operations management.
- Experience supporting initial-volume product ramp and ensuring sustainable overall performance.
- Good understanding of the Slider-through-Drive process.
- Fluent English communication, both spoken and written, is required.
