Fraud Investigator ll (Backoffice)

Location: Mexico City. The role is currently fully remote and is planned to transition to a hybrid model with office attendance at the Mexico City hub.

Gross monthly salary: MXN 25,000.

hirify.global is a fintech company building an AI-powered WhatsApp-based remittance platform for Latin immigrants in the U.S., using AI, blockchain, and stablecoins for cross-border payments.

What you will do

• Investigate complex fraud cases end-to-end, including offline fraud, suspected rings, and coordinated schemes.
• Analyze transaction and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns and recommend mitigation actions.
• Prepare concise investigation reports with findings, evidence, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Strategy on cases requiring deeper investigation.
• Document investigation methodologies and support process, tooling, and fraud-prevention initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduation in any business major.
• Fluent English, both oral and written, is required.
• Experience in fraud investigation and transaction monitoring.
• Experience with G Suite products and strong communication skills.
• Weekend work is mandatory, with two weekdays off; shifts may rotate.
• Ability to learn, adapt to changing schedules, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
