Analytics Lead (Data Analytics)

Location: New York, NY; the data team works from the NYC office 2–3 days a week.

What you will do

• Own the full analytics workflow for a business-critical function, from raw data and models to dashboards and insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify strategic questions, uncover growth and efficiency opportunities, and influence priorities and roadmaps.
• Design intuitive dashboards that provide clarity and enable fast decision-making.
• Work with Engineering to validate and optimize data pipelines and maintain accurate, scalable infrastructure.
• Document analytical work and help teams interpret and act on data.
• Use experimentation data, forecasting, and predictive analysis to inform product and business strategy.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience owning analytics for a business function or product area, ideally in a fast-growing company.
• Strong analytics engineering expertise, including clean and performant SQL, data modeling, ETL, and data infrastructure fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Fivetran, and Metabase or Looker.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for business and engineering stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable systems from scratch and taking end-to-end ownership.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly in documentation and presentations to leadership.
