Cloud Engineering Practitioner (AWS)

Location: Hybrid role based at the New Bailey Manchester or One Braham London offices, with three days together and two days wherever. Eligibility for security clearance is required.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions across multiple platforms.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, self-service capabilities, infrastructure-as-code services, autoscaling, and DevOps deployments.
• Operate and maintain production cloud platforms, monitoring availability, latency, performance, observability, and overall system health.
• Troubleshoot customer environments, resolve incidents, and support complex technical escalations.
• Identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities, security gaps, and application deployment issues.
• Collaborate with cloud leadership, business stakeholders, product owners, quality assurance, and technical writers to scope, de-risk, and complete development activities.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
• Experience designing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across AWS environments.
• Experience operating and supporting production cloud platforms, including performance monitoring, incident troubleshooting, complex escalations, reliability, and observability.
• Eligibility for security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Azure cloud engineering experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience working in regulated industries and secure environments.
