Head of Platform & Solutions Operations (SRE/Kubernetes): Running and scaling B. Braun’s customer-facing Integrated Solutions Portfolio and Digital Foundation platform in production with an accent on service integration, site reliability engineering, observability, and regulated operations. Focus on building a SIAM operating model, introducing SLOs and error budgets, and establishing risk-tiered GitOps change management across internal providers.

What you will do
- Build and deliver an end-to-end pilot operating model for one integrated solution, including interfaces, SLOs, and stakeholder feedback.
- Design and implement a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) model across IT Service Desk, Global Business Service, and Global Technical Service.
- Introduce SLOs and error budgets on the observability stack to guide prioritization and operational decisions.
- Establish risk-tiered change management based on GitOps and policy-as-code principles.
- Build, lead, and grow an operational team or competence center for reliable production platform operations.
- Represent platform operations to internal and external stakeholders, communicating risks, incidents, and the roadmap.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
- More than 8 years of experience in platform or production operations, including several years in leadership.
- Hands-on experience with SLOs, observability, incident response, and live production environments.
- Experience designing and operating a SIAM or comparable multi-provider operating model.
- Practical experience with SRE, cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, and GitOps-based change enablement.
- Fluent English and confident German communication with enterprise stakeholders are required. Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments is expected.

- Experience with ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
- Experience with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.
