Product Readiness & Change Risk, Lead (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 125,000–145,000 annually, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Own and operationalize Enterprise Delivery Framework readiness gates covering build, SIT and performance, production approval, and operational acceptance.
• Define measurable exit criteria, readiness artefacts, checklists, evidence models, and traceability practices.
• Establish lifecycle-based change risk management, including initiative evaluation, risk scoring, classification, and mitigation.
• Partner with Risk, Security, Product, Engineering, and Technology Operations to align operational, regulatory, and technology controls.
• Standardize operational readiness expectations, tooling guidance, and delivery KPIs across products and delivery teams.
• Lead Enterprise Delivery Framework adoption through awareness, training, coaching, and data-informed delivery improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in software delivery lifecycle governance, release management, or operational readiness.
• Experience in complex, regulated environments such as financial services or payments.
• Experience implementing or supporting enterprise delivery frameworks, gating models, or quality control practices.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end SDLC, including requirements, build, testing, release, and operational acceptance.
• Expertise in change risk management, operational readiness standards, evidence-based controls, and enterprise standardization.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist certification.
