USA Regional Transportation Security Manager

Location: United States. Travel within the United States is required for route assessments, partner reviews, and incident response.

Base compensation: $107,100–$133,800 USD per year.

What you will do

• Own transportation security across the United States, including domestic and cross-border lanes.
• Define and evolve regional security standards, controls, procedures, and partner requirements.
• Secure the packaging, handling, and movement of high-value infrastructure assets from origin to final delivery.
• Assess risks across routes, handoff points, carriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile providers.
• Lead investigations and resolution of theft, loss, diversion, tampering, and other in-transit security incidents.
• Oversee GPS tracking, geofencing, real-time monitoring, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Significant experience in transportation security, logistics security, or in-transit operational risk management.
• Experience owning security or operations across a large geographic region, preferably in the United States.
• Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile delivery partners.
• Experience leading incident response for complex in-transit security events.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-value or critical infrastructure transportation, including data centers, electronics, or technology hardware.
• Law enforcement, military, or corporate security background.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking, geofencing, real-time monitoring platforms, or TAPA TSR.
• Experience coordinating across regions in a global organization.
