Supplier Quality Data Specialist (f/m/d)

Location: Hybrid (Remote/Office) in Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany

Full-time professional role within the Gas Services division, focused on global supplier quality data for gas turbine components.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of supplier quality data, including inspections, testing, defects, corrective actions, audits, performance evaluations, and compliance documentation.
• Define data standards, specifications, and dictionaries while performing data cleaning, verification, and archiving.
• Build KPI models, analyze quality trends and root causes, identify batch risks, and develop quality early-warning mechanisms.
• Operate and improve SAP/QM and supplier quality management platforms, including dashboards, automated reports, and system integrations.
• Optimize supplier admission, in-process quality control, anomaly handling, and performance review processes in line with ISO 9001 and power-generation compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and IT on global quality digitalization projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Statistics, or a related field.
• Long-term professional experience in supply chain quality data governance, data analysis, and quality system optimization in manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python skills, including data modeling, visual analysis, automated reporting, and dashboard development.
• Practical experience with SAP/QM, supplier quality management systems, and digital process implementation.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, supplier performance management, and quality closed-loop control.
• Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills are required for cross-border supplier communication and technical documentation.

• Experience with gas turbines, large power-generation equipment, high-end precision manufacturing, or multinational supply chains.
