Senior Lead - Developer Community Growth (C++/QML)

Location: Espoo, Finland; hybrid working options and flexible hours are available.

What you will do

• Define how developer community programs support Qt's Go-To-Market strategy.
• Prioritize and grow communities around C++/QML, Python, Rust, C#, and emerging development approaches.
• Set baselines and KPIs for community activation, retention, expansion, and NPS, then track and report progress.
• Lead and coach virtual project teams of internal and external community program contributors.
• Own forums, ambassador and contributor programs, university partnerships, learning content, developer experiences, and events end to end.
• Partner with Marketing, UX/Product, R&D, and Customer Engineering to remove blockers across the developer journey.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developer relations, community management, or developer marketing, ideally in open source.
• 2+ years of experience managing project teams and individual contributors.
• Technical fluency in C++ and QML, with familiarity with other languages or technologies such as Python, Rust, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or React.
• Data-driven approach with experience setting baselines and KPIs.
• Experience reaching developers through forums, hackathons, events, university partnerships, and collaborations.
• Excellent communication and public-speaking skills, including experience as a community spokesperson.
