Banking & Payment Operations Senior Manager (Fintech)

Location: Riga, Latvia — hybrid

Salary: €5,000–€10,000 per month

hirify.global works with a payment gateway and card processing provider serving merchants through card acquiring, global payment acceptance, pay-in and pay-out flows, flexible settlements, and regional payment integrations.

What you will do

• Develop and transform payment and settlement processes.
• Oversee domestic and international payment methods, including correspondent banking and clearing.
• Open bank accounts and establish correspondent banking relationships.
• Ensure compliance with AML, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and payment controls.
• Translate operational requirements into business and technology specifications.
• Manage developers, external vendors, integration projects, and commercial negotiations with banking partners.

Requirements

• Significant experience in banking operations, international payments, or payment infrastructure.
• Experience building or transforming payment and settlement processes.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international payment methods and compliance controls.
• Practical experience opening bank accounts and establishing correspondent banking relationships.
• Experience with AML, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and payment compliance controls.
• English and Russian are required. Experience in fintech is required.
