TL;DR
Senior Automation Engineer (Robotics): Defining and designing integrated automation solutions for AI-powered robotic cells and customer production lines with an accent on PLC/HMI programming, hardware integration, safety systems, and industrial documentation. Focus on building and testing control systems, integrating robots end-to-end, debugging and servicing equipment at customer sites, and developing prototypes for robotic solutions.

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid workplace with up to 40% remote work and travel to customer sites up to 20% of the time

Salary: 18,000–23,000 PLN per month on UoP or B2B, plus equity

What you will do

  • Define and design integrated solutions for robotized stations and production lines.
  • Work on robotized cells end-to-end, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronic, actuator, and safety components.
  • Create PLC programs and design and program safety systems using Siemens automation tools.
  • Integrate hirify.global robots into customer production lines and deliver complete solutions at customer sites.
  • Maintain electrical schematics and PLC documentation, debug problems, and perform robot maintenance and service.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, contractors, customers, and cross-functional partners to ensure reliable hardware-software integration.

Requirements

  • Experience building automation systems and integrating them into robotized cells or production lines, including control-system design, construction, and testing.
  • Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming with Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC Unified.
  • Knowledge of automation components, industrial communication protocols, and solutions from leading suppliers.
  • Engineering degree in Automation, Robotics, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills; French and German are optional.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites up to 20% of the time and work hands-on in a customer-facing environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT, TIA Portal Openness, Ignition HMI, or process simulation.
  • Hands-on experience with EPLAN and Siemens modularization and revisioning.
  • Experience with ABB industrial robots, maintenance or service teams, and end-to-end project management.
