Gardener

Location: Onsite at the Givat Ram offices in Jerusalem, Israel. Full-time schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00–16:00.

What you will do

• Maintain outdoor gardens, landscaped areas, and indoor plants.
• Cultivate and care for vegetable and decorative gardens.
• Perform seasonal planting, watering, pruning, and general plant care.
• Manage and maintain irrigation systems.
• Participate in planning, design, and execution of large-scale gardening projects.

Requirements

• Full-time availability onsite in Givat Ram, Jerusalem, Sunday–Thursday, 7:00–16:00.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in professional gardening.
• Extensive knowledge of gardening and/or professional expertise in plant, soil, and water sciences, especially soilless gardening and indoor plant care.
• Ability to perform intensive physical outdoor work.
• Strong operational, organizational, task-management, supplier-coordination, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Passion for plants and gardening; ability to work with computer systems is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Relevant academic degree.
• Experience using gardening tools.
• Good command of English.
