Senior Database Administrator (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

What you will do

• Manage RDBMS and NoSQL database solutions.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery across bare-metal and virtual machine environments.
• Implement and manage replication chains, partitioning, sharding, and backups.
• Support development teams with database design, optimization, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Drive automation for infrastructure and database lifecycle management using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
• Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL or PostgreSQL, plus familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including DDL, DML, and DCL.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and proficiency in Linux.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Bash, or Python.
• Team management experience.
• Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.
