Senior Product Engineering Manager (Mechanical Engineering)

Location: Chonburi, Thailand; relocation available. The role is based at ODM factory operations and includes 25% travel.

What you will do

• Supervise operational engineering activities from SMT through final assembly at ODM factories.
• Lead onboarding and setup for new factories and factory transitions.
• Review and implement manufacturing process development initiatives supporting operational excellence.
• Manage relationships with internal and outsourced engineering development partners.
• Review designs and project activities against technology and development standards, providing feedback to improve product quality.
• Provide engineering leadership, drive technology integration, and mentor less-experienced staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in SMT, mechanical assembly, testing, and industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of PC product engineering and production processes.
• Expertise in Design for Excellence techniques and first-level triage of factory quality issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills, including the use of Six Sigma techniques.
• Fluent English and the local language are required.
