GNC Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design and implement AOCS/GNC subsystems for spacecraft and missions involving LEO operations, reentry, and rendezvous and docking.
• Develop, synthesize, test, verify, and validate GNC algorithms.
• Implement GNC code in flight software and develop high-fidelity six-degrees-of-freedom models and simulations.
• Perform design optimization, dispersion analysis, and multidisciplinary spacecraft systems investigations.
• Specify, select, model, and simulate AOCS/GNC hardware.
• Build automation tools and validate software through unit testing, Monte Carlo analysis, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Requirements

• MSc in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering discipline; a higher degree is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of classical dynamics, orbital mechanics, flight mechanics, control, and estimation techniques.
• Experience with flight physics simulation.
• Software development experience in C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Fluent English is required.
• Motivation to work in a fast-paced, autonomous, and demanding startup environment.

Nice to have

• German or French language skills.
• Higher academic degree in aerospace or a related engineering field.
