Microsoft 365 Migration & Copilot Specialist (gn)

Location: Milan, Italy; Work arrangement: Hybrid; valid working visa for the EU required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Design migration strategies, coexistence plans, cutovers, timelines, and risk mitigation approaches.
• Manage identity and directory challenges involving Entra ID, domain consolidation, federation, identity mapping, and user lifecycle management.
• Use Quest On Demand Migration, Migration Manager, or equivalent platforms to deliver secure migrations.
• Assess Microsoft 365 licensing models and implement security solutions including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, DLP, and Microsoft Defender.
• Support Microsoft Copilot adoption and governance while preparing technical documentation, runbooks, and operational handover materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Strong expertise in Entra ID, identity synchronization, federation, identity governance, and access management.
• Hands-on experience with Quest On Demand Migration, Migration Manager, BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing models, including E3, E5, Business Premium, add-ons, and advanced security capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, including Defender, Purview, DLP, eDiscovery, and Conditional Access.
• Professional or fluent English and Italian, written and verbal, are required. PowerShell scripting, analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management experience are also required.
