TL;DR
Logistics / Packing & Shipments (Manufacturing): Managing end-to-end export, import, and domestic logistics for project shipments, valves, spares, and engineered products with an accent on customs compliance, freight optimization, shipment documentation, and delivery coordination. Focus on planning critical shipments, resolving clearance and transport exceptions, negotiating freight rates, and controlling logistics KPIs and costs.

hirify.global operates in engineering and manufacturing, with this role focused on logistics for valves, spares, project shipments, and engineered products.

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end export, import, and domestic shipments by air, sea, courier, and multimodal transport.
  • Coordinate bookings, cargo readiness, vehicle arrangements, container stuffing, trailer loading, e-seal management, and cargo securing.
  • Review commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of entry, certificates of origin, and other customs and export-control documents.
  • Coordinate customs clearance with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, warehouses, and customs brokers.
  • Evaluate quotations, negotiate freight rates, manage logistics providers, and drive cost optimization.
  • Track shipment milestones, communicate delays and risks, escalate critical issues, and own logistics KPIs.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in logistics, EXIM, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of export and import operations, customs procedures, freight forwarding, project logistics, and transportation management.
  • Experience with air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, EOU processes, export compliance, Incoterms 2020, and international trade compliance.
  • Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel, shipment tracking systems, ODeX, and port community systems.
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, valves, oil and gas, EPC, or industrial equipment industries.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, stakeholder coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and risk-management skills.
