WordPress Developer (PHP/WooCommerce): Developing and maintaining WordPress and WooCommerce websites, web platforms, e-commerce solutions, and internal applications with an accent on custom PHP functionality, responsive interfaces, and API integrations. Focus on building Laravel-based tools, improving performance and usability, and solving technical issues with scalable solutions.
Location: Onsite in Taupō, New Zealand
Salary: Up to NZD 130,000 per annum

What you will do
- Develop and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
- Build custom WordPress plugins and features using PHP.
- Create responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Develop and support Laravel-based applications and internal tools.
- Integrate websites with APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
- Improve website performance, usability, and user experience while troubleshooting technical issues.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Strong PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
- Experience building custom WordPress functionality.
- Understanding of responsive web design and UI/UX principles.
- Experience with Git and API integrations.
- Ability to work onsite in Taupō, New Zealand.
Nice to have
- Laravel, Docker, MySQL, or PostgreSQL experience.
- Experience with Golang, Python, website hosting, or deployment.
