Senior Systems Software Developer (QNX)

What you will do

• Deliver professional integration services and solutions for QNX products.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Provide technical expertise, analysis, and advice to external customers.
• Explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with internal engineering stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
• Build and maintain effective relationships while managing multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Strong C programming skills and a solid understanding of embedded software development principles.
• Working knowledge of POSIX/Unix operating systems and embedded software development.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex system-level software issues.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced English language skills and native Japanese language skills are required.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and handling sensitive customer and business matters with diplomacy and confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of shell scripting languages, GCC, and GDB.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems and large, highly integrated software projects.
• Exposure to QNX Networking, USB, Kernel, Safety, Security, Hypervisor, Graphics, IDE, and development tools.
