Azure/AWS/Databricks Data Engineer (Cloud Data Engineering)

What you will do

• Analyze, design, and implement data warehouses, data lakes, data models, and data pipelines.
• Build ETL code and logic for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources using SQL and Spark-based programming.
• Work with data platforms across AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Build analytics solutions that provide insights for clients and end users.
• Collaborate in an Agile project team with iterative goals and short delivery cycles.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud-based data engineering platforms.
• Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue.
• Databricks and Apache Spark.
• SQL and Python programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Teamwork, communication skills, motivation, and interest in an Agile workplace.

Nice to have

• Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• AWS S3 or AWS Kinesis.
• Azure Monitor, AppInsights, Key Vault, Azure AD, and data modeling experience.
• CI/CD tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git.
