Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; hybrid workplace with onsite attendance required a minimum number of days weekly

Salary: $88,000–$121,000 annually, with possible discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Support new product development and sustaining engineering for cloud-based products.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures with C# and .NET.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop testable software that meets product, regulatory, compliance, security, and performance requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, code reviews, and software demonstrations.
• Maintain technical documentation and implement automated testing and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional, internship, co-op, or project-based software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, SQL, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices including testing, documentation, code reviews, version control, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with cloud applications, microservices, API development, Agile environments, and unit, integration, or performance testing.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or other build and deployment automation tools.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
