Data Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze client revenue, transaction volumes, payment corridors, product usage, pipeline health, conversion, onboarding, and first-transaction metrics.
• Build client profitability, unit economics, pricing, fee, cost, FX spread, and volume-tier models.
• Identify at-risk clients, cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and the factors driving changes in commercial performance.
• Design and own dashboards for revenue, pipeline, client activity, and product adoption, replacing manual spreadsheets with live self-service reporting.
• Build and deploy internal commercial tools such as client scoring, pricing calculators, lead enrichment, reporting automation, and data quality checks on Google Cloud.
• Create AI-assisted commercial workflows, define responsible AI usage, and ensure human verification for client-facing and regulatory outputs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an analytical role, ideally in fintech, payments, banking, or a data-heavy commercial environment.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, including complex queries against large transaction datasets and development of small applications or services.
• Hands-on Google Cloud experience, including application deployment and hosting with tools such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, App Engine, BigQuery, or Cloud Scheduler.
• Experience building dashboards with a modern BI tool such as Looker Studio, Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Daily practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, plus advanced spreadsheet skills and Google Sheets automation.
• Fluent professional English is mandatory; Georgian is an advantage but not a substitute.

Nice to have

• Understanding of payments mechanics, including SWIFT, SEPA, correspondent banking, card scheme settlement, or stablecoin flows.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar transformation and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with CRM data models, pipeline analytics, React, Streamlit, digital assets, or regulated banking.
