Lead Mobile Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, modernize, and deliver enterprise mobile applications across iOS, Android, and shared mobile components.
• Own mobile features, platform improvements, architecture foundations, offline capabilities, authentication flows, telemetry, and release infrastructure from discovery through post-launch improvement.
• Implement intelligent mobile experiences using LLMs, AI services, on-device intelligence, contextual assistance, automation, and personalization.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, identity providers, analytics platforms, event-driven workflows, and backend services.
• Lead technical workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, coordinate releases, and collaborate with product, design, security, QA, DevOps/SRE, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and improve developer productivity through reusable components, CI/CD automation, testing, build optimization, and modern AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on mobile engineering experience and technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping iOS and Android applications using Swift and Kotlin, plus cross-platform development with React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform, .NET MAUI, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience with mobile architecture patterns including MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, modular architecture, dependency injection, and design-system integration.
• Knowledge of mobile security, authentication, authorization, secure storage, encryption, certificate pinning, privacy, OWASP Mobile risks, accessibility, and compliance-aware engineering.
• Experience with unit, UI automation, integration, contract, snapshot, and regression testing, as well as mobile CI/CD, signing, provisioning, release automation, observability, and production monitoring.
• Experience applying AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows, with knowledge of LLM-powered product experiences, structured outputs, validation, and responsible AI guardrails.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET MAUI or other cross-platform frameworks at scale.
• Experience building shared mobile libraries, SDKs, design systems, reusable components, or offline-first applications.
• Background in mobile observability, crash analytics, performance monitoring, event streaming, messaging, or real-time data workflows.
• Experience integrating on-device or cloud AI, personalization, automation, or contextual assistants into mobile applications.
• Experience with regulated or security-sensitive applications and Agile/Scrum environments.
