Lead Mobile Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, modernize, and own enterprise-grade mobile applications across iOS, Android, and shared mobile components.
• Lead mobile features and project workstreams from technical discovery and solution design through release, production support, and continuous improvement.
• Develop AI-enabled mobile experiences and integrate applications with AI services, LLM-powered backends, APIs, orchestration layers, and data sources.
• Establish mobile architecture foundations covering modularity, offline capabilities, authentication, observability, design systems, and release infrastructure.
• Improve performance, reliability, security, accessibility, testing, CI/CD, release automation, and production monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with product, design, backend, security, QA, DevOps/SRE, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on mobile engineering experience and technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping iOS and Android applications, including cross-platform mobile development.
• Strong Swift and iOS development skills, including app lifecycle, concurrency, networking, persistence, testing, and App Store releases.
• Strong Kotlin and Android development skills, including Jetpack, coroutines, networking, persistence, testing, and Google Play releases.
• Experience with mobile architecture, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, identity providers, analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, testing automation, and CI/CD.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, LLM-powered product experiences, mobile security, cloud environments, Git, and production-quality engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET MAUI or other cross-platform frameworks at scale.
• Experience building shared mobile libraries, SDKs, design systems, offline-first applications, synchronization, and conflict resolution.
• Experience with mobile observability, crash analytics, performance monitoring, event streaming, or real-time data workflows.
• Experience integrating on-device AI, cloud AI services, personalization, automation, or contextual assistants into mobile applications.
• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments and Agile/Scrum teams.
